Every plan includes Tropic Planning and Tropic Estimating. Products marked “In the works” will be added on release.

What changes
The cost of a tool is measured against the time it replaces.
Maintaining a project schedule and a pricing database in shared spreadsheets takes several hours a week, spread across project leads and technical management. That time produces no deliverable.
A forgotten client deadline or a badly anticipated workload is paid in overtime, in renegotiated dates, sometimes in penalties. An overrun spotted three weeks earlier is still fixable.
Rebuilding the structure of a thousand-line bill of quantities by hand, copying prices from one file to another: every re-entry costs time and introduces the risk of an error in a bid.
An order of magnitude, to adjust to your firm
Take the time your team spends each week keeping these files up to date, and multiply it by your loaded hourly cost. For many design offices the monthly result exceeds the price of a subscription — before counting the errors avoided. That calculation, done with your own figures, is what should decide. We are happy to work through it with you during the demo.
Commitments
Beyond access to the applications, here is what you can rely on.
One address, answered by someone who knows both the product and the trade — not a call centre. Blocking issues are handled first.
Every application exports to Word and Excel. You never need to ask our permission to get your work back.
Your data is only accessible to members of your organisation, with roles defining who can view, edit or administer.
The subscription is monthly and can be cancelled at any time. On termination you have thirty days to export all of your data.
